the importance of art

i do not agree with this statement due to some art forms being someones job or having some sort of requirement in art in his/her workplace. I can understand how some people do think that they are wasting money on taxes when it is spent in extracurricular activities, but being in extracurricular activities can give you experiences some places cant give.
